How cute are these two?! Janel + Michael are those kind of people who you feel like you’ve known forever! Maybe it’s because they’re friends with Seema + Greg :) Their sunny Detroit engagement photo session was so much fun!

I love spending time during engagement sessions in spots that mean something to my couples. Janel + Michael had me meet them in the exact place they first met: the Firebird bar in Greektown. We ran around the city to some of their favorite spots and ended their session in the best way possible; a champagne toast! I cannot wait for this wedding!

How they met: We met randomly at the Firebird bar in Greektown.

Their engagement story: I’m sorta kinda obsessed with my dog and I look forward to the bark box that comes in the mail monthly. I make a huge deal about it with Rogan and we open it together. Rogan has been really sick that week and Michael got him a special bark box from amazon. When I opened the box with Rogan, there was a tiny black box with the ring in it. Then after Michael he surprised me with all of our close friends at Townhouse downtown.
