Oh my goodness, Courtney & Jason :) I’m sure you remember them from their super cute engagement session last month. Their day was so… beautiful. And I say that with a long pause and a soft beautiful. Their love, their venue, Court’s dress! It was such a classic & romantic Detroit wedding! Yeah, there was rain – I feel like it was such a common theme for weddings this summer – but it didn’t seem to bother these two. Their ceremony was at the oldest Church in Detroit, with so much character and love. Jason’s Father and Brother performed the music for the ceremony as well as a portion of the cocktail hour – it was so beautiful and personal. After we headed to The Roostertail where everyone danced the night away. Courtney & Jason, it was so amazing getting to know you and getting to be a part of your day. Your love was so inspiring and you made me feel like family. Congratulations again! xo, e

Wedding planning advice for newly engaged couples:
Make decisions quickly and make them together. The whole process should be fun and not stressful! Stay flexible, as there will undoubtedly be things that go differently than you anticipated, and that is okay! Just never lose sight of what this celebration is truly about.

Absolutely loved the photo of the mom’s look while she zipped the dress. The ones of the bride groom and wedding party all lined up in front of the stairs was PERFECT!
