Seema and Greg’s glam Eastern Market wedding was even more stunning than I could have ever imagined! Literally, every.single.thing was perfect on their day! With Detroit as their muse and backdrop of their day, their love and the sun shined so brightly. I had so much fun photographing their beautiful, emotional, fun day – it’s honestly so difficult to put it into words. After their First Look, we ran around the city capturing the fun that their group brings and celebrating Seema & Greg’s love. Their rooftop ceremony was absolutely perfect. Even though they had a first look and spent the majority of the afternoon, the emotion as Seema walked down the aisle really can’t be described.

Their reception was in Sheds 2 & 3 in Detroit’s Eastern Market. I was BLOWN AWAY with how A Moment in Time and Jen House Design completely transformed the sheds! After some very beautiful (and quite funny) speeches, and a fantastic dinner, everyone danced their hearts out for the rest of the night! Just before I left, a very special guest arrived: Sparty! Seema surprised her new Husband with Michigan State’s beloved mascot and the surprise was priceless. Seema + Greg: I am so honored to have been able to document your day. Your kindness and love made your day one I won’t soon forget. Congratulations to you two and GO GREEN! Their Wedding in 3 words: Heartfelt Spectacular Shindig

Seema’s favorite memory of the day:

My favorite moment of the entire day/night was when Sparty came out on the dance floor and surprised the groom!! Greg looked like a kid on Christmas morning and that exact moment is when every hard decision and sleepless night spent on this wedding vanished from my head and it all became so worth it. The look on his face in that moment will forever be my most favorite memory of my now husband.

Greg’s favorite memory of the day:

Hard to choose since there were so many awesome moments in the day. But I would have to say when Seema walked down the aisle. The first look was so cool since I was able to see how gorgeous she looked in a private setting. But once she walked down the aisle, it felt like the world stood still. Everyone was there to witness us get married, but at that moment, the reality of marrying my best friend set in. I know it probably sounds cliche, but I literally couldn’t see anyone else. It was a truly awesome experience and wave of emotions.

Wedding planning advice for newly engaged couples:

things are going to go wrong on the big day….let them go wrong and enjoy everything that goes right. Enjoy the moments with your new spouse that you will never be able to get back. Live in every moment of the wedding and take a few minutes for yourself and the groom to soak in all the love around you.

Everything was even more beautiful and perfect than we could have imagined…there are not enough words, feelings and emotions to express our thanks for every vendor, staff, and guest who helped make it what it was. We truly got the wedding of our dreams and more and we could not be happier to be starting this new chapter in our lives.
