I needed a good smile today, so I chose to blog Laura + Charles’ classic Michigan League wedding. You will see, Laura’s laugh and smile are contagious and my mood was instantly lifted looking through these (although they’re nearly 2 year old!).

I love this family. I have photographed 3/4 Williams sisters and I wish there were more, because if you know them, you know they are just the kindest people. And the men that they’ve married are just as amazing.

Their classic Michigan League wedding was absolutely perfect. So perfect in fact, I had a really difficult time choosing what photos to post LOL.

Laura’s favorite memory of the day:

After our first dances we went outside for some sunset photos with Erin and the videographer. It was wonderful to take a break from the reception and just enjoy the calmness and beauty of the outdoors with Charles. We were able to chat and just hangout together, which is our favorite thing to do. Then we were so excited to head back inside and hit the dance floor for the rest of the night!

Charles’ favorite memory of the day:

Before the ceremony the bridal party had 20 minutes or so to hang out together at the church. My emotions and excitement were building, and I am sure Laura’s were too. It was great to have my friends and family close by.

Wedding planning advice for newly engaged couples:

When the day comes focus on having fun! It’s a wild ride but the most important thing about your wedding day is that you are enjoying it. Your guests will be able to tell if you’re having fun, and they’ll have more fun too!!
