Last month, I had the pleasure of photographing my beautiful friend, Sarah and her growing family.  You may remember this family from Stanley’s big brother’s newborn and 1 year photos.  I know from experience, going from one child to two can be kind of a juggling act, but Sarah and Matt were so cool.  Big brother Jake loves his little brother and it really is the sweetest thing.  I really think Jake’s favorite thing might be giving his brother kisses.  They are definitely on their way to becoming best friends.  Here’s a little more about Stanley:

How did you decide on your child’s name? Stanley is a family name on Matt’s side. It was his grandfather’s name and is his dad’s middle name. And for the middle name we have kind-of a maiden name theme going on – with Kindred being mine & then Jake’s middle name is Carver, which is my mother’s maiden name.

Three words that describe your new little one: a wiggle worm, noisy (not just crying, but a bunch of snort and squeal sounds) & loved (Jake no longer gives any kisses to Matt or I. He saves them all for his little brother).

Best piece of advice you’ve received: to remember that everything is just a phase. The bad will quickly pass, but so too will the good so try to be in the moment & enjoy all of them along the way.
