Heather + Alec’s summer tented Michigan wedding was magical! Not only because it was perfect and beautiful, but because it was put together so quickly. Their big destination wedding was cancelled due to the pandemic, but luckily, Heather’s sisters are wedding planners! How fricken lucky, right?! Everything was breathtaking and I am still dreaming of her gown(s) – Heather and Alec had wardrobe changes late night – and white orchid bouquet! *sigh* Just perfect!

Wedding planning advice for newly engaged couples:

Give yourself more than 2 weeks to plan it if you can :).. No matter what you do or how much time, energy or money you put into creating the perfect wedding, don’t lose sight of what it’s really all about. We spent a year planning our first wedding that we never got to have, but in reality, those finer design details don’t make the night last longer or make the commitment you’re making to each other any more or less special. Go with the flow and don’t stress when things don’t go as planned. You’re wedding is about marrying the person you love and celebrating your commitment to each other with your loved ones. Most of all, remember to take it all in on the day of and enjoy it cause it goes by way too fast!!
