Continuing with catching up on my blogging from 2017, here’s Christine + Matt‘s amazing summer Waterview Loft wedding.  I literally just sighed at my desk, because I love them so much.  Christine might be one of the kindest people I’ve ever met, and witnessing someone like that marry their soul mate is always good for the soul.  I met them at the Marriott in the Ren Cen for literally the most perfect First Look in history.  No joke, as Matt turned around to see his bride, her veil caught the wind and blew out perfectly.  Their catholic mass at Most Blessed Sacrament was stunning and so heartfelt.  We ran around the city, ending at their celebration at Waterview Lofts.  Ya’ll check out their E. E. Cummings cake Sweet Heather Anne designed for them!!  When I first saw it, I literally stood there for 5 minutes.  So perfect and so personal.    Their reception was filled with one of the largest and most lit dance floors of all time!  Soooo much dancing – everyone got into it.  This was a wedding that I really wish I could shoot all of the time, because it really was the perfect day.  Chris + Matt, thank you so much for trusting me, and most importantly for appreciating my work.  I really can’t put into words how that feels as an artist and all I can say is you’re the best!  xo, e

Christine’s favorite memory of the day:

The 3 mental picture moments I had with myself. Everyone says, “the day goes by so fast, make sure to stop and soak it all in.” So I did that 3 specific times. 1-walking down the aisle with my dad, he turns to me and goes, “soak it all in, Chris.” So I stopped, took a mental picture of everyone looking at us & then locked eyes on the love of my life. 2-eating dinner next to my now hubby, I stopped, took my mental picture of everyone laughing & conversing with each other like they were one big family. 3-When Matt & I were grooving on the dance floor with all our favorite people, I stopped, took my last mental picture of our best friends & family dancing, laughing & having the time of their lives. TOTALLY recommended to all the future brides out there!!

 

Matt’s favorite memory of the day:

Our first look. It was a private and special moment that we were able to share and remember together with no one else around.

 

Wedding planning advice for newly engaged couples:

It’s YOUR day, make sure you get everything YOU want!! It helps to have a badass & selfless MOH & Best Man who will stop at nothing to make sure everything is perfect for their friends!
