Leanne + Zach’s Ann Arbor spring greenery wedding was such a great day! This couple is just the sweetest! So cool, fun and in love. I was so lucky to have been there for their day. My favorite moment was the first look. Their reactions were EVERYTHING! You’ll see below, but it really was the most perfect first look. We spent the morning running around U of M’s campus taking photos with their ultra fun wedding party and then on to the main event: their ceremony. Short and sweet – their reverend even made me want to go to church! We all danced the night away at Webers in Ann Arbor. And by we I mean of course Allison and I too. We can’t resist a good dance floor!

Our first look. I honestly did not think I’d cry at all that day, but I became super emotional when I saw Zach for the first time and his reaction to seeing me. I’m really glad we took that time to just be us.

Our first dance. That song holds a lot of meaning to us and it was very special to see it come circle from being central to when we first began dating, to when we got engaged, to starting our life together.

Wedding planning advice for newly engaged couples:

Spreadsheets! Wedding binders and journals are cute, but we found them to not be as functional as good ol’ Excel. That way, anyone can view them from anywhere and everything is kept in one spot.
