Weller’s Carriage House wedding
Oh my gosh how have I not blogged this Weller’s Carriage House wedding?! It was 3 years ago! We’re gonna throwback Thursday to one of the most memorable weddings I’ve ever shot. First off, Allison and Brad are the sweetest and seriously one of the most easy going couples ever. Thank goodness for that, because not only did it pour most of their wedding day, but the power also went out on a probably 85 degree day. These two rolled with the punches and had the most amazing day. Through the craziness, their DJ was so good, and even through I was completely exhausted, I didn’t want to leave! The dance floor was so good and everyone celebrated so hard. *Sigh* such a good day even though at times it was a little chaotic. Extra shout out to their DJ Dave Ruffo, who had an extremely long extension cord that reached to the main house so we could have power for music on the dance floor! He seriously saved the day! Brad + Allison you guys are the best and so sorry it took me to long to post your story :)

Allison’s favorite memory of the day:
Seeing Brad for our “First Look.” Our morning had been a little hectic, with the rain and the power-outage at our venue, and seeing him just made me relax entirely and realize that I’m about to marry my favorite person in the world and that nothing else mattered!
Brad’s favorite memory of the day:
Walking up to the cake cutting table and realizing we have no idea which cake to cut and where to cut it. So I start cutting into the largest cake and am really struggling to do it. After a minute or two, I realized I was cutting the cardboard that the cake sits on…we had a good laugh about it :)
Wedding planning advice for newly engaged couples:
Pick your vendors early, try not to sweat the small stuff, and when the day comes, don’t stress and just enjoy the best day of your life!
