Guys!  Baby #2 is arriving one week from today.  That’s right!  The time has already come.  Can you believe it?!  It really feels like it just flew by!  A few facts about Baby #2’s arrival:

1. No, we are not ready.  The nursery is not done, although I have purchased all necessary decor (remember the grey and mint Where the Wild Things are theme?)

2. We do not know the sex.  We are going to be surprised just like the rest of you!

3. We still don’t have a boy’s name that we can agree on.  I keep joking with Brandon that if they announce it’s a boy, I’m just going to shout something out!

4. We aren’t quite sure yet how we are going to take care two little ones under 17 months (though Brandon seems very optimistic that “We’ve got this!”)  Any advice would be greatly appreciated :)

So yeah, it’s been a wild ride to say the least, but good thing I like wild rides.  It keeps life interesting and I wouldn’t ask for it any other way.

The images in this post were taken by my loving husband, Brandon.  When I was pregnant with Stella, he took my maternity photos while we were on vacation in the Keys and he wanted to keep our little tradition going with Baby #2.  Last weekend he took me on what I’m guessing will be our last date in a while :)  He took me to the DIA and then to Bucharest Grill (ummm, YUM!  Literally best schwarma I have ever had!).  It was pretty awesome.

I will be on Maternity leave from now until 4.1.2014, meaning I will not be photographing any sessions or events during that time period.  I will however be returning phone calls and emails in a timely manner, so if you have a question, want to schedule a session or meeting, or just want to chit chat, give me a holler!  I’d love to hear from you!  PS: Spots are filling up fast for April, May and even June.  Please contact me if you are looking at scheduling something during that time period or beyond!  It’s never too soon to schedule your session.
