I got to meet beautiful Lennon back in March and I feel like it was the coldest day of our Michigan winter.  First, can we talk about how much I love her name?!  As a huge Beatles fan, I was so ecstatic when I received an email from Lennon’s Mom telling me she was here.  We had a great time hanging out, photographing and talking crazy baby stories – Lennon could not have a cooler set of parents.  Let me tell you, this baby was so observant and connected to what was going on her entire session.  Almost every photo, she’s looking at the camera!  To respect Lennon’s family’s wishes and privacy, I have intentionally kept her face out of almost all of the images in my blog post.

Was she early, ontime or past due? 3 weeks early

How did you decide on your child’s name? We originally intended on Lennon being her middle name, with a few different choices for her first name. When we met her, though, Lennon just fit her so well that we decided to use it as a first name and figure out a different middle name.

Three words that describe your new little one: Feisty, comedic & loving

Best piece of new parent advice you received: Do what is right for your family and your child. Don’t feel forced into doing what ‘you should be doing’ according to others and neglecting the signals your baby is sending to you. Everyone is different and there is no manual designed specifically for you.

Must have baby item: PACK AND PLAY and sleeping gowns.
