Earlier this year, one of my closest friends, Laurie got engaged to her totally friend approved fiancé’, AJ.  One morning as I was referring a bride to a friend of mine because I was booked, I thought – “Ah!  I need to text Laurie some names to make sure she gets someone good to shoot her wedding”.  The response I got to that text literally made me smile from ear to ear.  “We want you to do it, well if you want to…”  Ummm yeah!  After their engagement session was rescheduled once due to rain (darn October weather), we headed to Plymouth Orchards.  Though it wasn’t raining, the cloudy cast wasn’t exactly what we were envisioning for their session.  But then, the sunset.  The sunset was the most gorgeous in a long time.  I, of course had so much fun photographing their engagement photos.  For those who know Laurie and AJ, you know they really are the perfect match.  The thing about Laurie is she really is one of the funniest people I know.  You will laugh until you cry when you’re with her.  But she also has a huge heart and has a very loving side.  AJ is exactly the same and I am so happy they found each other.  Not to mention, the way he looks at her makes my heart melt into a little puddle.  It really is crazy how the universe works.
