You guys might remember Kim and Jacob from their fabulous Downtown Detroit engagement session. I know I still think about it, because I’m in love with Kim’s killer Belle Isle outfit! As I’ve said before, these two are crazy in love. Like such a deep, beautiful love. But also a gushy, marshmallow with sprinkles on top love. The “I Love you”, “I love you more”, “I love you most” kind of love. pretty.sweet.strong.
Ok, so Kim & Jacob’s wedding was the day of that crazy snow storm just before Thanksgiving. It was crazy. But it was also so freaking beautiful. My favorite part of their wedding besides the gorgeous snow and Kim wearing her Grandmother’s stole, was their vows. They wrote their own and if you know Kim & Jacob, you know there wasn’t a dry eye in the house! Not only that, Kim wrote special vows to her step children that were so, so beautiful. It was an amazing, beautiful, wet day. The kind that makes your soul feel really, really good. Kim & Jacob – you two are such a fantastic team. Your love beams right out of you and makes everyone around you feel your light. I am so grateful to have been able to witness your union. Thank you so much for having me! xo, e

Wedding in three words: Most perfect day
Kim’s favorite memory of the day: There are so many favorites, including praying with Jacob before the ceremony and finally seeing him for the first time when I walked down the aisle. However, I think one that stands out the most is during dinner at the reception. Sitting with my husband and looking at each other and around the room and seeing all those who love and support us. What an overwhelming and amazing feeling
Jacob’s favorite memory of the day: Watching the doors finally open and seeing Kimberly walking down the aisle with her dad down to me was the most amazing and beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. That was most definitely my favorite part of the wedding!
Wedding planning advice for newly engaged couples: Over all, be open and honest with each other, share everything, become partners! Planning can be stressful at times, so remember to lean on your person and take date nights…even the week of the wedding!
Honeymoon location: It’s a surprise…Jacob is planning it.

Wow, their first ‘look’ up against the wall and his first reaction as she came down the isle are both just as beautiful. Great job! And, the wedding “speetch” note wins haha! Love these.
B-E-A-UTIFUL! Every single shot is gorgeous. So much emotion captured – the groom and son during the wedding! And I’d say these were two lucky ducks with the snow that came. Those snow images are so romantic!
Oh man, I am a sucker for snowy weddings!!! What gorgeous images!!! And that last dance photo = YES!!!!! Beautiful wedding!
