Jessica + Nick’s Community House wedding in Birmingham was just spectacular. It was just one of those days where everything was so perfect and lovely!

Their wedding in three words

Romantic, memorable, emotional –and it was HOT (so so hot)

Jessica’s favorite memory of the day:

My favorite memory was taking time after first dances to step away from the reception as a married couple. Looking into the windows of the venue we were amazed to see how many of our close family and friends were there to celebrate us! This was all Erin’s idea!

Nick’s favorite memory of the day:

“My favorite memory was seeing the doors open and watching you start to walk down the aisle” He is very traditional that way and did not want to know anything about what I would be wearing (shoes, hair, veil, jewelry) in addition to keeping the dress a secret.

Wedding planning advice for newly engaged couples:

Find vendors you LOVE and trust. You are putting elements of your day in their hands, so you need to know that they are reliable and can make your vision come to life. Don’t overplan or stress if things go wrong. They will, without a doubt, and are all part of your wedding planning process–you’ll look back and laugh. Our rehearsal dinner venue ended up being double booked and we weren’t notified until a few months from the event and scrambled to find a new venue to accommodate our guests. On top of that, we received a call 4 days before the wedding saying our priest was unavailable (INSERT PANIC). It all ends up working out in the end!

Honeymoon location:

Paris and Barcelona for 1 year anniversary–cancelled due to COVID no plans yet to reschedule
