Guys. this is going to be a long blog. There’s just no way around it. Benita + Eric’s funky chic Hindu wedding was basically two entirely different beautiful weddings. Allison and I met with Eric just as his Barat was about to begin. Ok, Barats might be the most amazing way to start a wedding day. So much energy, love, music and dancing – I literally had tears in my eyes. After the Barat, Eric was stopped for some traditional ceremonies which were so beautiful and loving. Their ceremony began just after as Eric was brought to their Mandap that was adorned with colorful flowers and streamers.
There ceremony was beautiful and so touching watching their parents participate small ceremonies with them. A few photos, and an outfit change and this newly wedded couple were in their element. Benita with her hot pink spiky heels and BHLDN gown and Eric with one of my favorite groom ensambles of all time – they were THEM. It was like a breath of fresh air and they were able to show off their personal style and their lives together. Fast forward to a few beautiful speeches, dance performances and a lit dance floor all night thanks to one of my favorite boss babes, Mary Ann Productions. It was an amazing day. Benita + Eric, thank you so much for letting me be a part of your day. I LOVED photographing your quirky, chic style and your kind and sweet personalities. Cheers to you both! xo, e

Their wedding in three words
us, fun, colorful
Benita’s favorite memory of the day:
Our first dance. In the moment, it felt like it was just us and the room was empty rather than full of people.
Eric’s favorite memory of the day:
Every time I looked at Benita and she was smiling is my favorite memory. She’s very beautiful, and to see her smile is a treasure.
Wedding planning advice for newly engaged couples:
Don’t do things just because “it’s what everyone does” or “every wedding has it.” It’s YOUR wedding, not your mom’s or your sister’s or your best friend’s; do you. If we listened to what everyone else thought our wedding should be, it wouldn’t reflect us and my personal style as much as it did.
Honeymoon location:
Madrid, Granada, Barcelona and Paris.

Seriously, how fun is this?!
I LOVED this part. So beautiful and so many smiles. It may not look it, but it was tiiiiight. All of the guests were squeezed around watching and smiling as Eric is prepared for the ceremony.
Those looks you guys?! My heart is melted
Benita is such a babe. Her wedding sari just popped on her.
Ahhhhh, the BHLDN gown! Just stunning

And Eric’s wedding suit was everything! Down to the gold bow tie!
The gorgeous bride workin her gown and perfect air plant bouquet
Their cats even made an appearance. I couldn’t help but have them wear them as masks <3
BON BON BON created two flavors and boxed them as favors
Holy Moly guys. Sweet Heather Anne absolutely outdid herself. Benita had a vision and she just killed it! Water color hand painted flowers with hand lettering!
I may have been jumping too – you just have to with Robyn. Thanks MA for keeping the dance floor packed all night
