Carrie + Alex’s Fort Myers Florida wedding was perfection! First, these two are amazing! So sweet and so much fun! They made Brandon and I feel like family on their wedding day. Also, their wedding gave me an opportunity to see my parents who live 10 minutes down the road! Guys, how great is Burroughs Home?! Gulf of Mexico views, spanish moss and the colors had me feeling alllll the feels. Their day was fun, full of romance and ended with one epic dance party complete with yummy ice cream from Love Boat! It was such a great day and we are so honored to have been able to be there. Thank you guys and your families for everything! xo, e

Carrie’s favorite memory of the day:

I really loved our first dance. We always have the best time dancing, but spinning around in my wedding dress made it so much more fun.

Alex’s favorite memory of the day:

Listening to Carrie recite her vows to me on our wedding day was my favorite memory. I truly did not know what to expect. When I heard what she had to say it really made my heart smile. Writing vows is no simple task, but it was well worth it! This made the day and moment a lot more meaningful.

Wedding planning advice for newly engaged couples:

Decide what is most important to you both, and make those things a priority. If something sounds fun to you, do it even it everyone else getting married doesn’t. Research and hire trustworthy vendors because they’re a huge part of making the day enjoyable, stress free, and memorable. On the actual wedding day, remember that it’s a special day for the two of you and you should experience it all together as a couple. Also, serve ice cream!!
