I could go on and on about Jill + Nick’s folk wedding! It was so beautiful and them – it totally reminded me of how much I love my job. I may have even cried twice, haha!
The day was beautiful – perfectly blue skies and white puffy clouds. Their ceremony was held under a very old oak tree, which was perfect as their unity ceremony was them planting a tree together. As Jill walked down the aisle, there was a beautiful breeze and sparrows that continuously circled like Jill was Briar Rose (I am totally not exaggerating!).
To keep it short, my favorite moments include their ceremony under the tree and the blessing with all guests hands on them. Jill & Nick performing a cover of The Book of Love as a treat for their guests. Their First Dance was everything wedding day dreams are made of – They giggly danced to George Harrison’s “What is Life” with a sweet choreographed dance. Their vows, and Jill’s unique wedding shoes. Man, I could go on and on. Jill + Nick, your love is beautiful and inspiring. My heart is still full months later as I type this! Thank you so much for letting me be there. xo, e

Jill’s favorite memory of the day:
Our first dance because it was so much fun to dance like we were in our living room but in front of a hundred and forty people.
Nick’s favorite memory of the day:
Bringing everyone together and playing a cover of “The Book of Love” by the Magnetic Fields for everyone.
Wedding planning advice for newly engaged couples:
Be organized, ask for help, and make sure to have time for each other that isn’t focused on the wedding. After all, it’s just a day. You should be more excited for the lifetime.
