I totally feel like SNL’s Stefan right now, but this fall Detroit wedding had everything! Tears, crip walking, tons of champs, laughs, the groom doing the worm, light up shoes, Grandparents dancing to Crazing in Love by Beyonce’ like it was their jam. everything.
And everyone had fun. Like every single person. Blue Water Kings kept their dance floor poppin’ all night like nothing I’ve ever seen! Like seriously, I want to go back and have this day all over again. Plus, I LOVE these two! I know I feel like I say it all of the time, but I seriously get to hangout with the coolest couples. Thank you you two but being so, so amazing. For trusting me and laughing withy me – you’re seriously the best! xo, e

Their wedding in three words
Epic Dance Party
Caitlin’s favorite memory of the day:
It is so hard to choose! The whole day was incredible. Probably walking down the aisle with Ryan after mass. Being announced as husband and wife for the first time and then getting to walk past all of our family and friends and see everyone who came to support us was a great moment.
Ryan’s favorite memory of the day:
My favorite memory was seeing the dance floor packed the entire night. It truly was a party surrounded by friends, family, and my new, beautiful wife.
Wedding planning advice for newly engaged couples:
Caitlin’s advice: It can be very stressful planning a wedding, there are so many moving pieces and most likely you’ve never done this before. Be okay with asking for help or hiring someone to help, and remember that at the end of the process you get to have a great big party with everyone you love all in one room. It’s all totally worth it. Ryan’s advice: Don’t stress the small stuff and keep open lines of communication.
Honeymoon location:

When I saw Ryan’s squad, I knew we had to try something I’d been wanting to try for awhile. I explained it to Allison like all of the guys jumping v a la Beastie Boys Sabotage. But I told her just ditch it if it doesn’t seem to be working. Sometimes bigger ideas can end up corny if it just isn’t working, and ya’ll know we aren’t corny. This was the second jump and I’d say they nailed it. And Allison totally brought my vision to life even better than I could have ever imagined! Props girl!
And here he is ladies and gentlemen: The Groom doing the worm :)
