Corbyn and Lucas’ love story just might be one of my favorites.  They first saw each other, because they lived in the same apartment complex.  They both thought each other were cute, so they would purposefully get done up and try to cross paths.  They finally met and dated for a few weeks, but Corbyn had to move away.  Long distance was tough, so they parted ways.  Fast forward a few years and Corbyn returned to Metro Detroit.  One of her friends had mentioned that cute guy she had dated a few years back and so she looked him up on Facebook and sent him a message.  I think it was something like, “Hey, remember me?” And the rest is history.  I think I just love that story because it’s such an awesome thing to do and it totally worked!

I met Corbyn and Lucas for their engagement session where they are getting married next year, Detroit’s Belle Isle.  After our session, Lucas was taking Corbyn to see her favorite band and not only see the concert, but also a private mini show before.  He gave her the tickets right after he proposed to her.  It’s a good thing she sent that Facebook message, because they really are perfect for each other.
