Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing Caitlin and Brennan’s wedding at the Detroit Historical Museum. I’m sure that a lot of you have gathered from my website or my other social media accounts, I love Detroit. I love the culture, the beauty and the soul of the city. So, when Caitlin and Brennan first contacted me to photograph their wedding, I was ecstatic (not to mention that they are two of the sweetest, most in love people). I absolutely loved Caitlin and Brennan’s day. With all of the personal touches like Caitlin’s fashion forward reverse necklace, Ball jar lanterns down their aisle with things and people they love written on them, handmade bouquets and boutineers (Caitlin and her sister Erin made them!), an a-ma-zing DJ (seriously I need that playlist!) and Downtown Plymouth’s Greek Islands’ coney dogs served for dinner (along with the.best.greek.salad.ever! I’m seriously obsessed and may have sent my husband there the next day to get another one), this day was all about them. Not only was their wedding amazing, but they are amazing as well. I loved photographing them, because the love and excitement they shared was just pouring out of them. Congratulations you guys – I am so happy for you!
