You may remember these two from our fabulous time together last fall!  I love these two – Caley, the free spirit who brings nothing but a smile to your face and Franco, the cool collected one who wears his heart on his sleeve.  I was SO pumped for their wedding day!  When I first met Caley, she was telling me how her Mom and sister are crafters and they were planning on making a lot of stuff for the big day.  They weren’t kidding!  Everything from all of the floral arrangements, to the ceremony backdrop, to the centerpieces were hand made.  When I walked into the wedding, my mind was BLOWN!  It was so, so, soooooo gorgeous and not only that; it was all made and designed with LOVE.  So beautiful.

When I first arrived, I introduced myself to the events manager at The Crofoot and she told me her favorite place for photographs is the roof “if Caley is adventurous”.  I thought, heck ya, Caley is adventurous!  Well, later on I found out that meant Caley would have to climb a 15 rung ladder at a 90 degree angle in her wedding dress for said photos.  And she did!  And I think it was worth it ;)

The day was perfect.  Great music, a lot of laughs, and touching moments like their written wedding vows and the fact that Caley’s BFF busted out a note from when they were in school for her speech.  When I left that night, my heart felt warm.  I’m so happy for you guys – you really are the perfect pair and I feel so lucky that you chose me to document your day.   xo, e

Caley’s favorite memory of the day: Watching all the guests walk in (especially Franco!) from the super secret room above the Vernor’s Room at the Crofoot. so fun! It was great to have everyone there and share a beer with my bridal party ad mom while doing it.

Wedding planning advice for newly engaged couples: You WILL get stressed. Make sure you take cute lunch dates when you do so you can both keep smiling. Laugh of the small stuff. It will not turn out exactly as you imagined, but if you stick with each other and enjoy the process, it will still be perfect.
