Getting to see Mark for the first time during our first look-it was such a special moment and I loved that it was private between the two of us (and Erin :) ).

I was also going to say how beautiful my wife looked during our first look, but since she took that, I loved getting to read my vows to Katie and hearing hers. Knowing that these promises will hold for the rest of our lives was very emotional. Also playing with the baby goats.

Wedding planning advice for newly engaged couples:

Try not to get too stressed out by the small details-you are planning a giant party so all your family and friends can celebrate you marrying the love of your life! Keeping that in perspective helped when we were getting overwhelmed.
